Our Foundation Year is for students who feel an extra year of training would really help them build their confidence, skills and knowledge. Whilst all our courses are very practical, they are also academically demanding, so some students feel the extra year working at level 2, prior to progressing to Level 3 will help them to build their academic skills to the appropriate standard required. The entry requirements for Level 2 are lower than for Level 3.
The course is for students with a passion for performing, who are dedicated, hardworking and enthusiastic. Conservatoire EAST is currently the only place for 16+ students to train in this region, where staff come from industry. This course is 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, plus shows during evenings and weekends.
